Once your Orkut account hacked or deleted by any reason. You will have to make a new account.

It is not hard to make new friends but finding old ones is.

So backup your friends email addresses so you can add them anytime in future.

Open www.orkut.co.in

Login with your mail and password.

Go to your friends section in navigation bar. ( http://www.orkut.co.in/Main#Friends.aspx?rl=t )

In right sidebar, your will find "export contacts" ( http://www.orkut.co.in/Main#contacts.CSV ) at downside. Click on it and download it. You can view it in MS excel.

Now you have backed up your data.

With your new account, you can add friends from these mail addresses easily.

From your new account, at Orkut Home, at left side in invite box click on more ( http://www.orkut.co.in/Main#Invite.aspx )

Now paste mail addresses form that file to email box and if message type anything you want. Submit.

It wont add all your friends, but it will send friend requests to all your old friends.
